What part of Connecticut you from?
The cold part.
Me, too. Came down to warm up.
When'd you get here?
Twelve years ago.
I had this conversation with the exterminator this morning. He has a big ol' Southern accent now, but the words between us got me thinking there's something of Connecticut that just stays with you. And that's OK.
Though there's not much cold here, there aren't any flowers, either. So I opted for this apple, born, as it was, of a pretty, fragrant little blossom not so many moons ago.

So lovely, especially with the bananas in the background!!
This beautifully shows just one of the good things that can come from flowers.
Lovely shot. I'm worried about our mild winter this year in central NC because flowers have started way to early and it's down to 21 tonight so I know there will be a lot of dead ones in the morning.
Great shot! And I love apples! And they are indeed one of those beautiful things that come from flowers! Hope you're enjoying your weekend, Sandy!

You just never know who you will run into. This apple reminds me of blossoms as presented, very good.
Nice photograph, entertaining story. You will always have some Connecticut in you. Just like I have the intermountain west in me.
I've lived in New Mexico for almost 30 years. New York is still a big part of me.
It's nice to think about the apple and the blossoms. Very nice picture.
Hey, Sandy! Are you on vacation or have you moved to warmer climates?
Nice shot of the green apple.
Looks ready to go in a pie.
A good rub on my sleeve - then the crunch.
Beautiful image of the green apple, Sandy!
This post made me smile.;) The shot is incredible, I love the way you see a blossom in that image.;)

Bela foto...todo fruto vem de uma flor...lindo!!!
LOL :) Like the Apple of your eye :)
Probably you didn't need an exterminator in Connecticut! We didn't in Oregon, but we sure do here in Florida -- for prevention, not (knock wood) cure.
Nice macro photo.
Regards and best wishes
