This talkative feathered dude had a lot to say on Saturday when we were walking along this road at Topsmead.
He was still talking and taking to the air and talking and taking to the air on Tuesday. He found a girl and then he played hard to get--and seemed to lose the game. He'll learn!
A handsome dude indeed. I especially liked the country road pic. Took me back to my childhood on the Prairies, driving out to the golf course with my dad. Lovely Sandy!!!
Lovely capture Sandy, bird song is so good to listen to. Love the road picture too, I always wonder whats round the corner at the end. Have a good weekend
Birds do sometimes have a lot to say. Yesterday they started in my yard at 4:30 AM and I did not appreciate it. I still encourage them, though with food and nest boxes.
A beautiful road perfectly photographed. I like very much the V and Λ forms you created on this shot. I suppose and hope this little bird had a beautiful voice :-)
That's a wonderful shot you captured of the bird, and what a beautiful walking path. Lovely SkyWatch Friday photos... and thanks for stopping by my blog too! :)
He's a 'pretty bird.' Are you so sure he wanted to lose? You sure did find a nice quite place for walking. I like place like these. Happy Sky Watching, ..
Hi Sandy ~ Long time no see but my spring break is officially over and I am happy to be back in the blogosphere. I love your photgraphy and your words which give even more insight. The picture of the dirt road is perfect - my eye is drawn right to the center and I keep looking to see what lies ahead. Take care.
Excellent pictures, Sandy! I so much like the first one with the bird. *** About Sky Watch, I can't get out any more from skyley.blogspot.com and have to swith off Internet Explorer! More, Mr. Linky doesn't work at all, I have to register again but I cannot!!
Many thanks for your information about Sky Watch, Sandy. I've gone to skyley in the afternoon and it's all right now! However, I'll try with pleasure Google Chrome (I must download it) which, as you say, must be really very good.
