Wouldn't it be fun to know the stories about all the ladies that graced the front of ships? They would have such wonderful stories to tell. It would be great fun strolling through a museum like this with you. This is second best. Thanks for taking us along.

My brain is stumped. This figurehead at the front of ships, what are they called? We have a maritime museum too, and I took lots of photos, did some research, but absolutely blank about the special name.
