Today's Flowers: Laying Down Some Roots

From February 18, 2012

Adella has been down for the weekend, and we were out and about enjoying the summer-like sunshine and warmth. In Wilmington, we took out the cameras and had a look around. I was struck by the roots moving up through the sidewalk and taking the shape of the asphalt tiles. Looking up, I had to smile at the lovely culprit: a palm tree.

  2. I bet you will feel more rooted when Adella gets there with you all the time. Love the photos. A much different habitat than where you came from.
