Marvelous capture as always! There's a lonely, longing feel that could be the cabin missing it's visitors, or the a memory in the minds of those same visitors. Have a great day, Sandy!
Such a lovely buildning on the lovely beach! I would like to sit there with some mineralwater and to calm down, relax, rest my eyes out just to the sea and the beach.. :)
A beautiful spot! It looks gray, and it does look lonely. Perhaps this was taken "off season?" I wonder on a sunny day, in summer, what would it look like? Perhaps there would be laughing children?
Sometimes I wonder if you ever sleep. You're able to capture scenes at just the right time. This one makes me feel a little cold, but how wonderful it would be to walk around there listening to the waves. Great photo.
What I'd give to be on that deck....I saw it on busy days and on lonely days. It is, first and last, a place to observe the sea. How you respond to what you see....Well, that is something else, and it may not be something for the camera. It doesn't matter. Here I spoke with someone who helped me appreciate how fortunate I am, how blessed I am to see what I see. I was not, am not, lonely, though solitude is part of what I am talking about.
This beautiful ghostly photograph of yours is the ghost of summer. It is haunting me with the wonderful memories and the wishes that it would never go away.

The beach is a great place to rendezvous. I can see that you think this too. This place looks lonely. It needs a colorful coat.. of paint.

ReplyDeleteI like this one in black and white. It brights out the lines of the beach house and the soft shapes and texture of the sand.
