One Single Impression: Gold

There is a fine line
Between night and day
That marks the space
Between now and secret truth
Cross the line
Come inside
Leave the lights off
No more shadows
No more seeing too clearly
What is wrong or missing
There is no need now
That golden line
Between night and day
Is a gift and a promise
In darkness and silence
Dream your dreams.
Touch them.
A new day comes
To be them
And breathe them.

Of the two witnesses, hold the principal one.

Beautiful- a choice within a choice.

  18. Beautifully written! My favorite: "Cross the line
    Come inside
    Leave the lights off
    No more shadows"

This alone expresses so much for me.

  26. That fine line that demarcates the old with the new, and maybe the conscious with our dreams. I try to weave these dreams into what could be. It seems so often I sit on the dreams, not believing they can come true, then get discouraged with the present. This poem invokes deep thoughts today.

  33. I can take so many meanings from this poem. It may sound strange but it made me think of women who have had breast cancer and had a mastectomy. In the darkness there is no need to see what is missing. Is it really nissing at all? The self still exists and that golden line that you speak of does seem a promise of possibilities!
