  1. Interesting captures for the day, Sandy! Surely they aren't that "color" oriented in your part of the world! I'm always curious about "color" as I had a mixed marriage! Great post/photos as always! Hope your week is going well!

    I think the "white" refers to the color of the exterior. It's Yankee humor.

    This marquis made me smile after spending so much time in the South, where the message is usually "repent or burn" or "God is ruthless, so get your act together." Not in those words, but close enough. It's the kind of religion that makes it easy to understand why people drink.
