Hope you have fun with the show. This graffiti is so weighted with weariness, I find. But in a good way, art-wise. Subject-matter-wise, it's rather melancholy, but I'm attracted to that.

ReplyDeleteTo your question about the cooperative owl. This was a rehab bird (lost it's parents young) that was in the process of being released into the wild.. I love this shot, and like to compare it to other owls, they really DON'T all look alike,, thanks Sandy!

Wow! Graffiti can be so powerful in the things is expresses! Good luck with the show. I'm at the other end of the country, so I can't go. But maybe you can post some of your pics of the show?

Art is in the eye of the beholder, eh. My friend who works for the city sees graffiti as more paint he has to remove.
