    I think those are each the numeral 1, as in AD 1891. I could be wrong. I came to this conclusion after a nice glass of red wine.

  40. I have NEVER seen windows with such interesting "bonnets." Wonder who the architect was that dreamed that up! I also wonder if all the windows on the building have bonnets.
