Today's Flowers: Sunny Days

Our daffodils will have to push through a few inches of snow if they're to make an appearance any time soon.  Meanwhile, there's the supermarket....and that's a good thing.

  8. We have a few of the old fashioned yellow daffs blooming now. Most things are still too chilled to bloom. The sun is out today though. I expect to find more blooms. Ever hopeful.

  9. I love daffodils and I miss them! They really say Spring to me --- and even if you must buy them in the supermarket, the promise is still there! (I can't even find them there here in Florida!)

  16. Yes. We don't have fields of flowers like Holland has.
Ours are inside hot houses where no one can see them Shucks.

  18. We have the same weather.;) I bought some daffodils in the garden center and am keeping them in the greenhouse for now. On the news they talk about million losses for gardeners as no one is buying any plants, as the ground is too frozen for planting and it is too cold for even bulb flowers to be out outside. The plants might have to be tossed and it will be the worst loss in 40 years.
Lets hope spring is on its way.;)
    xoxo
