Beautiful Sandy. And oh my goodness thank you for all you've done for us by hosting Skywatch every week; I hope someone half as good will take over. (And I hope you are OK and just 'retiring' because of other duties...I have never fully understood how people with full-time jobs and family have time even to write blog posts, let alone host as you do!) Thanks for everything.
This is one of those skies you cannot forget quickly. The colors are stunning in their beauty. The way the light sets off the fencing is lovely. Thanks so much for hosting Skywatch. So sorry you are stepping aside, but you have definitely earned your break. I do not how hosters do it all. genie
OH, I'm so sorry to hear you'll be leaving Skywatch. It's been running for ages and is my favourite meme.
I hope you find someone or a few people to host. If not, contact me! I'm not sure what hosting means though - time is rather limited - so if there is someone else without a job and kids, then great! Also, I'm in another time zone over here.
Thank you so much for hosting this wonderful meme over the years!
I was sad to read that this is your last last SWF as a host - I'd throw my hat in the ring - but (there is always a but) - I'm just about flat out with WBW!
At first I thought the fence was a bridge of some sort.
I can never get enough of seeing enticing skies, now days I get to see some stunning view of sunrises on my drive to work. But man do I miss my stunning vistas from the white house on he hill, I will never stop missing those.;) This is a beautiful capture Sandy, dramatic and soothing at the same time... Have a lovely weekend, xoxo
Gorgeous capture, Sandy! You have been a wonderful host, I am sad that this could be the end for you. I love skywatch and I do hope it will continue. I could help some too, if need be. Thanks for sharing this beautiful scene! Have a happy weekend!
Thanks for hosting Skywatch Friday, and good luck. I was going to throw my hat in the ring (with the caveat that I don't do Facebook), but it looks like there are several volunteers already. And that's a lovely photo for this post!
Put my name on the list as well. I could host it. Possibly would recruit others to help out. Since I knew Klaus and this was his baby, I would hate to see it go.
Thanks, Dina Email me or leave a note on my blog if needed.
gorgeous sunset. Is that symbolic today? Will thank you for the time you have hosted skywatch. Seems though like you have some willing to continue. :) Hope to see you around blogword even in a new Skywatach. :)
Thank you for hosting—and thank you for this stunning image! So happy to see that there are good folks who are willing and able to step up. Can't quite imagine my week w/o Skywatch.
