Our World Tuesday: Back at the Beach

I love beaches. All of them. Even the modest, little ones. The air, the wide open space, the skies that roll on and on and all that quiet. Beaches in winter are great because the people who are there are there for the same things. No big radios, no loud conversations, no cigarettes stinking up the air, no greasy smells from the hot dog stand. Just pure light, air, earth, and wonder.

  11. Lovely reflections on the beauty of quiet beaches. We don't spend too much time on the beach here in Florida, because all those cigar smoking party beach people that you describe come down here during the winter. We stick to the non-touristy spots.

Oregon beaches are pretty much like what you describe even in the summer time. You would like them.

  14. I love beaches also, big, small, sandy, grassy, muddy, swampy. They are best with not many people.

  15. I agree fully with your sentiments, I could literally live on the beach, if it was possible. Who needs more than stunning views of sky and water, and the natural art around beats any expensive artwork made by man.;)
    Lovely photography as always.;)
