Here are a few blossoms from the gardens of Harkness Memorial Park, where Della and I passed several languid, lovely hours a few weekends ago. As the cold air and wind have come our way, we have thought of hot chocolate and snow and warm blankets on early nights. Time moves swiftly.

ReplyDeleteGreat captures of both the blooms. I have a soft spot for single-petalled dahlias ever since I learnt that they attract more pollinators. The park must have been really beautiful.

Orange you the one to choose such a hot color for these cool days. I had my first cup of hot chocolate just this weekend. One of my favorite treats.
