ReplyDeleteI do believe that everything in the Universe is constantly seeking balance, so I see balance more as a destination... Some days, the destination is farther off than others! That doesn't mean we can't enjoy the scenery along our journey!

I like rock cairns. My little stack of rocks are piled in a corner right now. I don't know where to place them. I love looking at them all stacked up neatly. It makes me feel like all is right in the world, at least in one tiny spot.

ReplyDeleteyour photo reminds me of a beautiful book Stones for Ibarra by Harriet Doerr, in which the people of a small Mexican village always left a pile of carefully placed stones to mark the location of an accident. (It was also a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie in 1988 with Glenn Close and Keith Carradine).
