What a poetic thought, the spaces between high-rise buildings as canyons. But city canyons seem more claustrophobic to me than wilderness ones. Having said that, I admit I like your photos...both of them.
I am such a hayseed that I don't really enjoy those big ole buildings. I do think they are amazing structures. I can see how the sky would be a premium in this situation.
Hardly any people. I remember Montreal was always full on St Catherine Street and the last time I went the people were all underground. Still a lot of cars though
Gorgeous blue sky in contrast to the high buildings. And yes, I know the movie "The Red Balloon", it is a wonderful movie, I love to see the old Paris.
