Oh this little guy brings back such memeories. I took my then teenaged daughter and her friend to FL for spring break. We hadn't been on a beach much before. I got up early and found several of these little guys skittering across the beach. I went back to the room to get them up to come see. Of course they wouldn't get up so I brought one in and put it in the sink for them to see. You should have heard them when they got up and found one in the sink. tee hee....

Interesting, the crab has such a boxy shape, and with the eyes looks a bit like a robot. Not unlike the robot in the art exhibit I reviewed from last week (one post below WW).
Sandy, you're amazing this picture is so perfect your focus and exposer awesome. The caption just cracked me up it goes so well with those beadie little eyes!

that is an amazing shot to be sure! the detail is wonderful, you can see individual grains of sand on the crab! Thanks for sharing such a great pic of this little guy!
