I saw some poppies the other day and meant to take some photos but something distracted me and I crossed the street and forgot about them. I will always remember the poppies we sold for the VA as a child.
Now I have to go look up the field of poppies poem. . . I think it was so appropriate that our President was in France for V day.
The poppy is a definite reminder of D Day and the sacrifice of all servicemen at all times. It is also a beautiful flower and you have taken a magnificent photo!
