I was experimenting with my new camera and took these photos. They're far from great--I was at the end of my run learning new things for the evening when the geese caught my attention yet again--but I liked it for the softness they capture. Truly, they are beautiful babies, beautiful creatures.

Great pics My Dear Friend!
Really wonderful and so sweet. hmmm.
Thanks for sharing
Hi Sandy, you saved the best for last! One of these days I will have time for WW again.
In the meantime you could check on Adi, my beagle, on my Ruby (Red) Tuesday. Adi is nice and soft too.
..
I think the texture of the first shot is beautiful.
They are adorable, Sandy. I just want to touch their downy little selves.
You did a great job capturing the fluffy children feathers. Beautiful geese beginning to grow up.
love the soft cuddly quality.
Awwwwwww, they're beautiful. Great shots. Are they yours?? Happy WW my friend and thanks for stopping by:)
Ha ha! Initially i thought i'm seeing a huge and black hairy creature. ;p
Very sweet!!
They're so soft and fluffy!
They look so contented.
Congrats on your new camera!
These are lovely shots and I get a cuddly feeling looking at those goslings. :)
The heart softens!
Aloha, Sandy
Beautiful creatures indeed, and often very funny too!
About your question, on the right of the photo on my post, on the top of the mountain, is the ancient monastery Sacra di San Michele.
Without having touch them, I can practically feel the softness of their fur through these pictures :)
love the fluffy fur
New camera? Oh, I am so jealous!
My goslings are 5 weeks old - at that awkward in-between stage. New feathers coming in, but still has some remnants of down.
a new camera takes always a little bit of time to learn it. but the cuteness of the subjects makes it all so much easier :)!
They are beautiful photos!
What sweet little beings!
Thank you for sharing them with us.
yep, that's why goose down pillows are sooo expensive, I sleep on fiber fill because of this thought.
Great shots! Love them!
Congratulations on your new camera.
I gave up doing Wordless Wednesday because I just couldn't keep it wordless!
Aww what beautiful subjects! Happy WW
Have to agree with you there. Lovely.
Beautiful critters :)
Perfect catch for wordless... Happy WW! Mine's up hope you can drop by.
So beautiful, looks like you got "down" to business taking these photos
Sweet.
If we ever wondered where the term 'downy soft' came from...
They're adorable and I love your title. Experiments help ME learn ... and I love both of these photos ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
wow sandy! nice to know that you have a new camera. we're already happy with the photos from your previous camera, but it seems that we'll be seeing an even better sets with this one.
i liek your first subject! the second photo is really good! i like the idea of including a big part of the grass in the frame. the colors are impressive.
So cute.. wee puffs of fluff. :)
Lacy the lab is sitting next to me as I read your blog. She is mesmerized by the little geese pictures. As I scroll up and down, her head goes up and down to follow them. Yes, she is salivating. Bad doggie... No, naughty naughty doggie. Not bad. She is 100% focused....
Well, I like both photos becase I love updates on those babies! I would be over there all the time if they wee near me. . . so what kind of new camera do you have? I still have to get my old one sent to Olympus for repair because it was on warranty. I want a 20 zoom again tho. Maybe one day after the new computer and saving for campung this summer.
