We experienced a heat wave early last week that surged through the veins of spring so that we were surrounded by gentle spring blossoms high and low. I took the low road and was satisfied.
I'm sorry to hear about the heat wave. We have our share of very hot and humid days. It's summer here and the heat can be so terrible especially during noon.
What beautiful little things you saw and photographed. I love how you can see the ant on the yellow flower. The mix of yellow and lavender is so lovely.
Oh yes! Lots of satisfaction in that beautiful scene! We had a heat wave the week before -- got up to 84! We set a record for the date. We did have a nice breeze blowing up the gorge tho so it was nice.
I took a drive to Tallahassee, FL yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to see that their wildflower project alongside the roads was bursting with success!
I took the high road, and you took the low road... and you got a much better picture than I did.
Awareness IS the mother of all creativity, and you are aware of even the tiniest things. That is but one of the reasons you hold such a tender spot in my circle of friends... and I imagine one of the reasons you are such a master teacher.

ReplyDelete"A heat wave that surged through the veins of Spring."
ReplyDeleteThe imagery in those words is almost as beautiful as the photo. Except when you visualize a veiny Spring. Then it can get a little gross.
