Dusty and faded, Waterbury, Connecticut, has a patina that makes it familiar, down home, and somehow lovable. Here are some images of the light dawning on the old and venerable (tired?).
Funny enough, by lowing my sights I found myself admiring this eagle on a monument to the soldiers of all our wars. I have never seen a bird with knees like this bird's knees.
