The days are lengthening, and the difference is noticeable. This was the westward view on Valentine's Day at 5:30 p.m. I am so used to the darkness all the time that I felt like I had found something quite special and all my own that evening.

ReplyDeleteSandy, that is really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture! I'm not playing, but wanted to comment :)
ReplyDeleteI'd say you definitely found "something special" that evening. Thanks for not keeping it just for yourself. It makes me feel like my cup is spilling over with hope. I have no idea why. It's such a gentle scene. But, the light in it fills me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scene! The longer days are noticeable here as well and it gives hope that warmer days are coming!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful how the sunsets keep getting more beautiful as we head towards spring? Ours have been gorgeous here. They say that its the pollutants in the air that make them so spectacular. . . if that is true, they are certainly a blessing because everyone enjoys a beautiful sunset.
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean. This is very lovely. the soft yellows are so welcome. The blinds go down much later now in the evening and that brightens my heart if not my days!
ReplyDeletePure gold Sandy. I love this time of year when change is in the air and across the sky.

ReplyDeleteI empathize with you about days filled with darkness, grey day in and grey day out. I can't wait for spring to begin!
What a lovely partnership - sunset and Valentines! Have you seen a red fiery sunset? I did! Perfect for Valentine's.
