  13. This looks very fun for adults and children alike. I love the detail you have in your photos; they are alive. We have a very interesting carousel in Missoula with all hand carved and painted ponies.

  24. I'm also partial to the first photo. I absolutely LOVE carousels. They're full of warm memories and they're charming.

    Although, I used to work in a home for the profoundly retarded. There was a broken carousel that sat at the very back of the property at the edge of a wooded area. It was one of the lonliest sights... That one kind of broke me heart. I wrote a few stories about it while sitting on one of the horses.

    Anyway... as I was saying. Great photos. Fond thoughts did flood into my mind.

  32. I lived in Connecticut for the first two years of my married life and had a son there. I traveled all over CT but don't remember seeing this merry go round. . . It is a real beauty! I am sure it has provided much amusement for young and old alike!
