Today's Flowers: Christmas Cactus

Christmas is in the retail air a little too early for my taste (Black Friday Week, one store is calling its greed.), but I couldn't resist this Christmas cactus when we were out shopping today.

Wishing you a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

  10. I have one of these blooming now too. I call it a Thanksgiving cactus since it is blooming at this time. A gorgeous pink don't you think?

  11. Totally agree. It's way too early and I can't mentally prepare yet but Christmas flowers are always welcome, any time of the year. Such a pretty bloom.

  12. That's a beautiful Christmas Cactus. I had one for about 20 years and it always bloomed for Easter instead of Christmas.

  20. Truth be told, Sandy, if it's out now it's really a Thanksgiving cactus. There are three different varieties: Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. ;) Personally I think that's great news.
