Our World Tuesday: Pygmy Goats and Others at March Farms

After Adella and I ran around stimulating the economy on Saturday and stocking her backpack with graphing contraptions, the cabinets with food, and my classroom with everything under the sun, we stepped out for a visit to March Farms in Bethlehem, Connecticut. There we met these guys.
We had a great time. Everyone loves a kidder!

Awwww aren't they cute. I will never forget the first time my friend from Boston saw these little critters. She wanted one so bad. They would eat her garden though. Cute as they are she couldn't have one. Really who could have just one anyway. Sounds like you girls are ready for school.

ReplyDeleteLittle goats can be cute, but when I taught school, the fifth grade teacher had a small barnyard for the kids. The goat got to wander around campus, but when it was lunch time he would follow the kids (the human kind) in line on the way to the cafeteria. He would try to butt them on occasion. When they saw the goat coming the kids would go crazy. - Margy
