A very dear friend recently pointed out to me that I take plenty of photos of water but none at all of people. She suggested I get the long lens on and get a few shots off of humans doing what humans do here. That's my friend telling me to stretch my limits, and I take her point. The only problem is that nobody's here right now. The woolly mammoths that blew in from Canada with the most recent Arctic blast scared 'em all off. So it's me and the clouds and the birds that aren't at all afraid of woolly mammoths and that's about it. Soon as a few people show up, I'll be there to spy on them. Meanwhile, here's the light that the great one called into being.
