Have ten years passed since my dear friend Craig Lundwall opted out of this world that would not love him for who he was?
Ten years have passed and then some. August 2 would be his 45th birthday. How better a place this would be if Craig were here. He could make us laugh and feel good and laugh and feel good again.
Be kind to everyone around you. Make them smile. Love them. Beautiful people perish without that kind of love.
Please. Be the anchor that holds.

A beautiful and very moving post, Sandy, and such a wonderful reminder to love those who bring joy and beauty into our lives. We all need that love, but to get it, we need to give it!

ReplyDeleteCraig sounds a bit like my brother, Mike, who was hilariously funny, but had emotional scars from being verbally abused all his life by my father. Mike ended his life in 1986 when he was 36. He had never dealt with his painful childhood, just covered it up with a sardonic wit.

ReplyDeleteWhat a special tribute of memory and love ~~ I wish those who opt out of life, could realize that is not the answer ... reaching out to someone to hold their honor close to their heart is a better move ...
