My World Tuesday: A Quiet Morning in Woodbury

Very early Veterans' Day morning, I took a little walk while the mechanics in town worked on my car. The day was so still, so tucked in, that the biggest sound seemed to be my camera. Every time I pressed the shutter, I felt like I was shaking our rural universe. Even my thoughts seemed too loud for the day.

  8. I'm prejudiced since I grew up in the country, but I think there is a majestic tranquility to rural America. Your pictures captured that beautifully.

  9. What a beautiful rural scene, that speaks of the rural America other commenters have mentioned. My sons used to have a toy barn that looked exactly like this, and all the farm animals and hay stacks packed away inside it when it wasn't in use.
