Our Flag and it's misuse is Mac's favorite soap box. He was a Signalman for over 30 years in the US Navy...he gripes about too large a flag on too small a flagpole, leaving it up 24/7 with no light at night illuminating the Stars and Bars...not doing the half mast ceremony correctly and the wrong way the Bunting is hung...but he declares this one absolutely perfect! hugs Sandi
Very good choice, Sandy. I've always thought that flags, kites, or anything flying in the sky gave a wonderful effect for a Sky Watch picture. Especially when the flag get beautiful colors and contrasts with a deep blue sky.
Very nice Sandy, all U.S. citizens should have an American flag to fly. We do. Happy Skywatching! .. BTW, our dog Adi is a reading dog. She has helped some sixth graders to read better, at least enough better to pass their state reading exams. She is a therapy dog, for the last couple of years we visit assisted living residents and leave the reading tutoring to the younger generation. It is nice that you can get your kids motivated to read and care for the books. Adi helped some with that. ..
