Our World Tuesday: Pelican Order

Early this morning, I could see pelicans in the distance merging from severeal points to form a line.  For once, I didn't fumble for my camera; I waited.  These are some elegant birds who sure do know how to play together.

  6. Takes me back to when I was a kid, Sandy. I'd see birds flying South through the window of my parent's house in winter, and my Mom would say "They're heading to Florida". :)

  17. White or brown pelicans, Sandy? Where are you! There are no pelicans in CT! I saw both species on a recent trip to Florida! Nice little video clip!
