Today's Flowers: Yellow!

The grocery story is my greenhouse these days.  Today, I picked up these yellow tulips from the market for mom and dad.  The car was nice and warm, so the flowers opened up quite a bit over the course of our 2.5-hour drive.

    We had bulbs coming up a week ago. The ice storm here took them out. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

    Beautiful tulips...lucky mom and dad.

    I had a Valentines bouquet in the house and have missed it ever since it gave up...I don't know why I don't buy myself flowers sometimes.
