We got some new wheels for summer on the beach. My daughter and her cousins have made triking cool. These tricycles are a good, fuel-efficient way to lug junk to the beach and back.
The beach is the best part of vacation. It's everything and nothing.
Dell had a go at the stand up board kayak thing. Whatever it is, she didn't fall off--even if she did need a tow!
We've gotten up early to try to catch the spirit of early morning on the water. It is a wonderful and quiet time.
The evenings are great, too.
In short, it's all good.

ReplyDeletelooks so inviting.
ReplyDeleteWe sat on the beach too this week end.Nothing like it.
it's all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI could do the triking to and from the beach and elsewhere. It is cool.
ReplyDeleteThe standup paddleboarding is beyond cool. The propulsion is just a matter of time. When one is in the water the standuppers look like they are walking on the water.
And the best times on the beach are of course, early in morning, and the evening, and during the day, and the night works also. And all times in between.
It looks like you, daughter, and cousins are doing summer right.
Yes -- your last sentence wraps up a quiet time on the beach! Love the pictures -- the standup thingy is something we've been seeing lately. Makes a great picture.
ReplyDeleteOh and I love the beach trikes! My beautiful 16 yr old gr-dtr got a city touring bike for her birthday and was as happy with it as she was to get her driver's license. Kids today really ARE cool!

ReplyDeleteI've always thought those paddle boards look unstable - but, I've never tried them. Love the glittery water scenes - and the trikes.

ReplyDeleteYou are right:the beach is everything. It's the beginning of life and the end of humanity in " On the Beach". But let us enjoy the waves as they come and go.
