I was reading the other day about the decline in the number and variety of bumble bees and thinking about the effect on the number and variety of plants that fill our world where we let them. It's a sad thing. Our world needs kindness beginning with the smallest of creatures.

Oh ya. Bumble bees are nice little guys

Farmers should all have bee hives.

ReplyDeleteOh so right. We have two types of bumbles in our garden. Plus several bumble mimics. It won't be long and we will be able to see them. Can't hardly wait.

I am using white clover in our lawns and noticed more bumble bees and other insects in our garden. White clover is very beneficial but many gardeners consider the plants:(
