  5. Oh yes, this very adequately describes my drive home from work, it starts with a twilight finale at the onset and ends in pitch darkens - with the return to normal time this Sunday I can clearly say, "no more light" as it will start and end in pitch darkness.;)

  10. Yup...that's late October for ya! And wait until the 7th when we go back to standard time. (When I worked I hated the month of November..dark when I went to work, dark when I came home.) Not nearly so bad now that I can go outside and play mid-day.

    However, your series can be looked at another way .. the lighted houses could be quite cozy after the dark.

  14. This is a hard tome of year for those of us that live so far north. it is just WRONG to be dark at 4:30.
