One Single Impression: Elusive

From August 12, 2011
Elusive white cranes and blue
Cry
 When the osprey
Glides through their silence,
Stopping
The hunt, or trading
One for the other
Before returning to a hungry nest

  9. This poem haunts me, as I'm sure the empty nest haunts the osprey.

  18. Brings me back to my white crane and blue heron watching, Sandy. Very nice.

The osprey and the hawk should stay away but Mother Nature tells them to hunt.
