Skywatch Friday: On Fire

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
("Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost)

And what a dramatic shot - both fire and ice!

  4. Love Frost's poem, one of my favorite, too. And what great stormy skies! It does look like the mood of the country today, doesn't it? Hope your week is going well, Sandy!

  28. By fire, or by ice death may come flying from nowhere, but it saddens me to see humankind is dying in the raging brutality rooted deep within the heart of each and every one of us. The anger, the hatred, the racism, the selfishness within us builds up greater ripples outside us, and kills us before we perish in fire or ice.
