it's almost the end of the flowering season. we have tons of wild sunflowers and blooming rabbit bush by our highways...for awhile.

ReplyDeleteI often pick Queen Anne Lace from the roadside for arrangements.
ReplyDeleteHurray for that sturdy Queen Anne's Lace that keeps on blooming despite the occasional setback of frost! The white-flowered Queen Anne's Lace blooms in the summertime here along the roads and empty fields near where we live, but due to the dry season that hits in June, they're gone by mid-summer.
