We took in the fireworks and some music in Surf City on Sunday. It was a nice evening; the music was good, everyone was relaxed and enjoying the cool breeze and the peace, and the fireworks were outstanding. As the sun slipped into the smoky night air, boaters motored in for their front-row seats. The wind grew very strong, so it must have been quite a challenge for whoever was shooting them off. Still, it was a good, long show. Those bombs bursting in air gave proof through the night that there's no place like home.
