The Seaview Pier is the point at which I turn back and complete the loop that makes the morning and evening walk when I am on Topsail. Sometimes I go beyond the pier, but not often. It's a good walk and just enough.

ReplyDeleteIt won't be long and you will be hiking back and forth along the beach watching birds skitter along the waves. A lovely sight no doubt.

I love the silvery shimmer of the water. I also love that you have a just right walk.
ReplyDeleteThe sparkling waves of water look dramatic beneath the pier over the sand and shore birds. What an exhilarating walk to enhance the day!
ReplyDeleteThe pier looks like a good landmark to have a stop before turning around.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice world you live in!! Lovely place to walk, clear your mind, and "gear up" for a new day. Lovely shots. Mickie :)

ReplyDeleteOh so beautiful! Live the pir and the big waves! Have a nice day :)
ReplyDeleteThe sea is always drawing people to the beach and makes them staring in the distance and listening to the sound of the waves. For me the sea, the ocean has a special meaning for me for my father sailed the waters for more than 40 years, also during WWII, which was very harsh and dangerous. That's what I always think when I see these endless waves. Your photos gave me those feelings again, so they are good!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, love the silver and grey tones in all the images.;)) And I always enjoy photographs of the sea.;)
