Such an interesting plant!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week ahead, Sandy!
Reminds me of home. As a child we liked to gather it and play dress-up with it. Thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeletebut... where is the snow?
ReplyDeletethat's one plant I've never seen but I like it.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had some of that around here. Always adds a bit of mystery to the landscape.
ReplyDeleteMosses are wonderful and I love how you captured this with light and the cemetery.
ReplyDeleteThe Spanish Moss is one of the things I really loved about Savannah and New Orleans! I can close my eyes now and see those huge, old trees hung with the moss and how beautiful it is! Have a lovely day, Sandy!

Love this interesting plant. It says "south" to me.
ReplyDeleteSince I live up here, I think Spanish moss is beautiful. I really like your second photo.
ReplyDeleteSpanish Moss gives 'Languid' the connotation of secrecy, sex and surrender. It is where I want to be.
ReplyDeleteI am always shocked by the brittleness of Spanish moss in the midst of so much humidity. It looks like sex but behaves like ego.
Thank you for the pictures Sandy!
They are beautiful. I saw a few Spanish Moss here. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images, Sandy. Nice effect in the second picture.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved seeing it hanging from trees, like a grey veil - it has a feel of ethereal melancholy over it, but not in a sad way, more a tranquil one. I recall seeing it hanging from trees that would line the highway as we would approach the beaches in NC.;)
