This was the view before dawn a few weeks ago before we headed to New York City. The moon was full, I think. I am always kind of stunned this deeply nighttime vision can give way to morning in a matter of minutes. Nothing is forever. Nothing.

Breathtaking, Sandy! And you are so right -- nothing is forever! Have a wonderful day!

The only thing we can count on is impermanence. It's amazing how the shadows in the dark of your photo, will soon give way to light.
ReplyDeleteSo true and so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSandy this looks like a heavenly way to greet the morning. What a treat that you were out to shoot it and share with us.
ReplyDeleteThis is very unique! You found the right moment to take this photo, not a moment too soon. Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me how I still have yet to see the latest HARRY POTTER movie :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of the week.

nice night time sky shot.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing the sun rise at any time of year. Food for thought: nothing lasts forever.
ReplyDeleteI really hate it when the sun goes down. It's so beautiful in the horizon but then seems to go down very quickly and disappears and the light along with it.
ReplyDeleteYou sit and think... hunh!
Sandy this is just gorgeous...and yes everything is fleeting...how wonderful when we are able to truly appreciate the fullness of a moment in the way you have done through your photo!
ReplyDeleteA very moody picture. You are so right. Nothing is forever.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful capture, Sandy! It is amazing how fast things can change.

Great capture. The sun comes up so quickly at times that we miss shots like this.

You are right. Changing the shape of lunar by eclipse describes that nothing is forever. I, too, posted photo of full moon. Coincidence, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
Oh, stunning! I love the moon ad I can never capture it with my camera.;) This image is so intriguing, mysterious and enchanting...

Even though nothing ever lasts, at least we can enjoy and remember the beauty while we still have our memory functioning, unlike my poor dear Prof whose memory is waning almost as quickly as the moon.
ReplyDeleteThat is a stunning capture. So surreal.
ReplyDeleteI added myself to follow your blog. You are more than welcome to visit mine and become a follower if you want to.
