This beautiful sycamore tree reaches across Jack's Brook at the Tierney Preserve. It seems to me trees embody grace in the ways they grow through, around, and even beyond each other to get to the light. Skywatch Friday
I was happy to see your tree branch today as that is something I particularly pay attention to when out walking and taking photos -- in fact, I have such a photo today!
Great pic. I love sycamore trees this time of year. They can really show off their bark. Trees in groups are so cool in how they manage to find the light they need. Its almost like a dance or a game of Twister.
There is a beauty to every season. Winter is the time to enjoy the limbs of the trees. If a big old tree could talk what stories they could tell us of the folks who walked and wondered beside them. Happy Thanksgiving.

ReplyDeleteand when the branches are bare, stripped of their leaves we can see their real beauty as they reach up.

Yes the limbs do stretch out towards the light.
ReplyDeleteYou can make them curl by turning the tree around and around.
Real art this.
I love trees and I find solace in their branches and their constant presence, thus I loved this post. In images and words.;)
