Today's Flowers: We Play with our Food Here in Connecticut
Here's an ear of corn the stalk of which created part of the maze my daughter and her friends and cousin traveled on Saturday to mark her 12th birthday. The day was soft and dull, and the only sunlight came from the corn itself.
Happy Birthday to your daughter. I am sure being surrounded by her friends she didn't even notice the sun wasn't out. The corn is a beautiful shade of sun. Happy Halloween too.
wow she is twelve already? I know what you mean about the sun. I have been enjoying the light when it does shine as everything has kind of a orangey/yellow glow. There is a freeze warning for our area tonight.
A Belated Happy Birthday to your daughter. There's a very popular corn maze not too far from our house that the youngsters (and a few not-so-youngsters) really enjoy.
