We took a walk at Southford Falls in Southbury on Saturday afternoon to take in the colors of what has been designated the peak color weekend for leaf peepers. We were out and among them and glad to be there, for sure. The day was windy, cold, strong, and beautiful. (More here.)

Your photos are wonderful!!!!!! You are a professional photographer. You know I have found sometimes it is the most beautiful things in life, call up the feelings of loneliness, and sadness. It's funny that way, but I think it because it is the deep feelings. It is beyond joy.
ReplyDeleteThat first image is magical. I love how you see the world. And how you share what you see.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fantastic autumn pictures, especially the first picture was done to me .... but all are of great sensitivity and beauty.

Oh Sandy, how beautiful. Thank you for sharing those vibrant photos. They brought me back years when I lived in New York and we'd take trips up state to see the fall foliage.
ReplyDeleteOh, what delightful shots - so soothing for the soul.
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful! Ours are turning colors and I have no zoom lens to use on them. Saving for another camera hopefully in time for winter if not before.

oh, isn't it just incredible.
ReplyDeletetoday many of the trees on our street seemed to sigh a last bit, and now they are barren.
It looks as if you had a perfect day to be out among the autumn colors. Your photos are gorgeous. I really like that first one.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn captures.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is simply fantastic! Those colours are incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, our autumn is nowhere as stunning this year. Last year we had reds, copper and golden that took my breath away, this year one has to look long and hard to find some lovely foliage. I am hoping the peak is yet to come, but I am loosing my hope.;)
ReplyDeleteInstead I take pleasure in seeing what others are posting such as you.;)
xoxo
