He looks a bit bald! Maybe he's ticked off about that! What great shots, Sandy -- as always!! Happy Wordless Wednesday!Sylvia
Is that a vulture?! He's a lot prettier than our turkey vultures here in Georgia!
Wonderful shots! I like how we can see the critter's eyes in every photo.
Not sure I want him flirting with me, lol. :)
PS _ think you can find a better guy than that, lol.
what a ugly cute baby if you're the mother. lol!
Kind of ugly but proud indeed!! Great pics!HugsSueAnn
I love the title. It gives the pictures a whole extra level of meaning.
Wow, you got close to that black vulture. We only get turkey vultures in our area. We are hoping to see a black vulture here some day. Great photos.
Fantastic shots Sandy. Such a treat. I have a big smile on my face from looking at them.
That head is not over endued with feathers but the rest of him has a good coverage. Not my favourite bird really.
Sandy: Great shots of the neat bird.
He looks rather curious.. very cool shots. He's a beauty. :)
Very beautiful photos, I like the eyes and the expression.
I'd take him serious. My updates are not showing on your sidebar probably since I moved (but have the same address).
Quite evasive. You did manage some great looks. :)
Those are some great shots!! :D
Wow... stunning shots! But I'm clueless when it comes to birds. Do you know what kind it is?-smarmoofus

The bird is playing peek-a-boo in the first couple pictures, just like my cat :)
Look at those eyes..staying alert, yea?
It looked very fierce and not wanted to be disturbed.
love that first one especially!
Great captures. Wow. I think the third one is my favorite.
Great captures. He really has his eye on you.
Whatever he is, he's not a bird to be trifled with, that's for sure. That beak is pretty serious.
intense looking bird...nice shots!
he did give us ample time to take his picture, did'nt he?
I am rather scared of that bird. I have never seen a black vulture - only turkey vultures. Interesting photos ! You are brave.

Isn't it just the most amazing miracle? A baby bird. Even though it's just life and we see it all the time...and let's face it that is one pretty ugly bird...still it's absolutely amazing what God does.
