I picked up some tulips at the market on Wednesday because the day was drowning in the sludge of Not Spring. The dark, the wet, the cold, the goo--too much. Nothing else for it but tulips.
I love tulips and they come in so many pretty colours nowadays. It's a shame it will be at least another two months before mine are out in the garden!!
Yes, hardly can we find any females that do not have a liking for flowers. Even men, my young son previously enjoy going to the nursery to buy/view flowers more than the toy department.
*note* I wrote previously ..now it's mom, can we go home now? lol
What a gorgeous tulip! I've been thinking about doing the same thing. The tulips here are so beautiful right now and the stores are full of them. Love color! And they are the best way to bring a pokey-slow spring into your home! Hope you have a great day, Sandy!
By the time Tulips come around I know it is really Spring. These are a particularly nice color. We have been buying a lot of cut flowers here. For our sake and to try and help the industry in general.
PS It was probably me but your link on TF wasn't working. Luckily I had your site bookmarked and got over that way.
