These paintings decorate the side of a parking garage on the corner of Bank and Grand streets in Waterbury, Connecticut. The panels are a beautiful splash of color in a city that struggles against being run-down and weary.
What a marvelous, colorful way to brighten up not just the parking garage, but the whole surrounding area! Beautiful eyes! Terrific shots, Sandy! Wishing you a very Happy New Year!
Send those artists down here! Wake County just built a 9-level new parking deck downtown and the blank institutional gray of the concrete could definitely use a bit of sprucing up.
And apparently the city has money for such things. (Witness my MWT this week for -- more -- evidence!) After all we can't very well have visitors to our Disco Alfresco District parking in a dull county garage can we? That would never do!
I like the photos shot through the bare trees like that. When the trees are full of leaves, you probably can't see the mural from where you were. Great colors. Happy New Year!
beautiful coloured wall....and really magnificient colours...usually wallpaintings are very colourful...this one has got great pastel shades and the design is fantastic!! ciao elvira

Very impressive works it is interesting how a painting can be so large and have such clean lines. It has a great look for being an outdoor painting.
