Today's Flowers: I Flinched...and Found the Unexpected

IMG 9203

I flinched and found the unexpected. That's the way it goes, usually. The good stuff would be right in front of me if I would budge just the slightest bit. What I thought would have been a disaster was no. That's the way it goes, usually....I posted this as a reminder to myself that it's all good.

Thanks for the gentle reminder that we should all stop once in awhile and smell the roses. It helps keep everything else in perspective. :)

Oh my! This did turn out to be a welcomed surprise. There's a good lesson here to not reject something until you've taken a good look at it. ;-) Looks very artistic to me, as if you planned it to turn out this way.

  34. Whenever I am in panic mode because i think something will be a disaster, I try to remind myself that past "disasters" have proven to be blessings. The reminders are working more and more.

  35. I agree with all the other comments - has a beautiful, dreamlike quality, as though behind a veil. As you say - a reminder that not all 'disasters' really turn out to be so!

  37. Photography is also one of my passions. It is amazing what you can capture, sometimes in things you do not see. Your abstract image still captures the essence of the rose within the fluidity of motion. Very nice indeed.
