You know, I think I have only been to Ocean Beach Park once or twice as a child. I have just returned from 2 weeks of rain in CT. Where did you find these blue skies? Love the contrast of the puffy white clouds with the spikey green grass.
Fluffy clouds for a beautiful blue sky day! I used to live in Groton, CT when I was jsut married for two years but I don't recall this park you speak of.
Oh my. What a beautiful sky. The northeastern US this spring and early summer has been a feast of amazing clouds (and so much rain of course) and you've captured a real stunning image. The perspective is one that I've always loved - as if you were walking up a steep hill right into the sky. Excellent!
wow it has been a long time since i visited - look at how much i have missed. these clouds are amazing - you know we don't get clouds like this as they are usually wispy ones or fog (that comes in on cat's feet). sometimes we see these in the distance but not enough to truely see them or get any shade from them

Almost looks like something out of War of the Worlds or some such. giant looming figures over the horizon and all that.
ReplyDeleteBut they're too fluffy to be malevolent Martian invaders. Then again, the winds inside those clouds could do some real damage...
I just love clouds when they pile up like this. So soft looking.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect day to be at the park cloud watching. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat's the quintessential beautiful blue and white sky!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't get any better with clouds like that against a blue sky! Terrific shot, Sandy!

ReplyDeleteNow those are some puffy clouds. They appear to be taking over the sky and about to march upon the landscape.
