A few weeks ago at Ocean Beach Park in New London, my daughter and her cousins just about owned the arcade. Everyone else was out enjoying the blue skies and sunshine! Looking up from the inside, I found some relief from the weird darkness of the arcade and found myself dreaming about being way out in the water, on a boat....Winning no tickets at all.

I'm with you too BUT I bet at your daughter's age you would have chosen the same things she does now. One day, she can look forward to appreciating the things you do now also. I know that's the way ti was with me.

I would much prefer to be on the boat myself. I really like both pictures, but especially the one of the sailboats.
I used to say that I couldn't understand kids who would rather stay indoors playing video games rather than playing outdoors. Until I realized that it wasn't much different from my staying indoors to read when I was a kid! But I think reading's so much better than video games ;)

There can be too much sunshine especially if you are out on a boat. There is nothing wrong about hiding in dark places every once in a while.
Out there under those skies and with the breeze is the place to be! New grandson Lewis is doing well, increasing his night time sleep and Mom is enjoying the extra sleep too!
Love the sail boats, there is not much that is better on a summer's day.
