These angels preside at St. John's on the Green in Waterbury, Connecticut. They caught my eye while I was waiting for my daughter's choir to sing so I could make a video for its blog. They are very strong yet graceful. I want them on my team.
can you imagine how difficult it is to get dressed with those wings. LOL! We believe angels don't have wings but it's only symbolic of how they get around so easily. Fun photos. I love stained glass windows and the thoughts of angels helping us that we can't see.
I never heard of that remark soemone made about angels not having wings. . . everything I have ever read or heard says they do. Hmmmmmm, now I shall have to go search my Bible.
OK back to your photos of these beautiful creatures. . . no wonder your eye caught them to share with us -- simply divine!
Beautiful colours that you caught in those photos. I think your guardian was looking after you when you took those magnificent photos. You knew exactly how to frame them in those windows! Really appealing shots.
By virtue of the Creation and, still more, of the Incarnation, nothing here below is profane for those who know how to see. (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin)

Are these windows or painting? I almost can't tell.
Great pictures and perfect description, graceful and strong. I'd have never got the strong part myself.
Very nice set of photos. I've always been a fan of stained glass.
Lovely angels. Very nice modern look.
They'd make really pretty Christmas cards, wouldn't they?
Pretty angels, fine compositions. I don't know if they are paintings or windows.
Stunning photos! And such graceful angels...

lovely~
Those are gorgeous! Are they painted onto the windows?
Beautiful work of art on the glass. Lovely.
Amazing glass work. Not the usual Tiffany style, but I think I actually like these better.
And Sandy, there's no way they could ever refuse you. The angels always look out for the good ones. They got your back I'm positive.
the first glass picture portrays a very encouraging setting. it shows that we all have angels to hang on to.
Wow. They look like paintings rather than stained glass. Perhaps a combination of each?
Oh, I love these photos. Angels certainly are everywhere. : )
i just love those artworks
my mom has a collection of angel paintings and figurines
by the way Sandy please feel free to share your thoughts upon Honesty here http://breaking-the-boundaries.blogspot.com/2009/06/honesty.html

I love them! I can decided which one more - I think the night angel, love the stars - although her eyes are a little droopy. :) lol
Oh I agree! And the photos are beautiful.
You captured them so beautifully. stained glass windows are wonderful.
That is spectacular stained glass work. If I could, I would love to learn that art. Creating angels in glass, reflecting light.
The colours are just beautiful too.
I want them in my team too! The clours are very beautiful.
